Bluefields is an excellent touring centre.  It is within easy reach of the tour attractions on the South Coast:

J Charles Swaby Safari, Appleton Rum Tour, YS Falls, Lovers Leap, Bamboo Avenue.  It is also close to historic Black River (the first place to have electricity in Jamaica) and  Mandeville, the cool capital of Manchester.  Negril is only one hour away and so is Montego Bay.
