Belvedere – Community and Woodlands Walk

Daily except Saturday   Departs 9am and 3 pm

In the foothills of the Bluefields mountain, this easy two hour walking  tour climbs gently to around 400 ft. It is an ideal introduction to Jamaican Nature.  We will usually see a range of endemic birds including the Jamaican Robin and Streamertail Hummingbird. We will watch large swallow tail butterflies feeding on the wild flowers and enjoy stunning views as we sit and listen to tales of the Taino Indians and colonial settlers.

We will visit a wood carvers forest workshop and sit and take refreshments in a woodland dwelling with the friendly owner. A great introductory tour!
